BCCDI Election 2023

Dear BCCDI Members:

The current BCCDI Board of Directors has nominated the undersigned Election Commissioners to conduct this year’s election to elect nine BCCDI Executive Committee members for the 2024-2025 period. As members and well-wishers of BCCDI and Bangla School, we feel honored and are happy to conduct the election process faithfully and with integrity.

We all want to make the BCCDI a very successful organization so that our children can learn Bangla language and the culture. With that as our goal, we would solicit your help and co-operation for a successful completion of the election process.

1. Nomination forms will be accepted on or before 2:00 PM, November 11, 2023 at Bangla School premises (12662 Lake Ridge Dr. Woodbridge, VA 22192). The forms (attached) shall be submitted to any of the Election Commission members directly.

2. A non-refundable nomination fee in check or money order for $200 per candidate shall be attached with the nomination form.

3. Any candidate may withdraw their nomination form on or before 2:00 p.m., November 18, 2023 by written declaration of such withdrawal directed to any Election Commissioner.

4. The final list of eligible candidates will be published by 2:00 PM on November 25, 2023 via the Election Commissioners and disseminated to the community via email and Facebook.

5. The election will be conducted on December 10, 2023 at the Bangla School premises (12662 Lake Ridge Dr. Woodbridge, VA 22192). The exact time of the election will be announced later on.
