Everyone can enhance their leadership qualities by rethinking the essence of leadership and capacity building. First, we must view leadership as a reciprocal learning process that promotes broad-based participation. True educational leaders recognize the potential and right of every individual to lead. They encourage leadership in others by evaluating the leadership capacity of staff and schools, fostering a culture of inquiry, developing and implementing initiatives for building leadership capacity, and creating policies for leadership capacity building.

There are many technics and methodologies for leadership, BCCDI focuses on and supports our youths in the following areas: Collaboration, Organizational culture, Leading Through Mediation, Professional Development, Coaching and mentoring, Leadership in management, Mastering Conflict Dynamics, Developing Leadership Brand, and Building Leadership Impact. We provide a foundation to ensure children are prepared to navigate a changing world and our approach to early education ensure that they thrive and develop the necessary skills to embark on their future.

A computer is more than just another household appliance. The vast amount of information and possibilities can be overwhelming.

To able to navigate the operating system and start applications. perform basic functions of file management. perform basic functions in a word processor and spreadsheet. Computer Skills for Beginners is for people with little or no prior computer knowledge. Our goal is to give you a solid foundation. Once you have understood these basics, you will clearly understand how to build your future learning and skill with computers and the Internet.

We offer Lessons in Piano, Electric & Acoustic Guitar, Drums, Bass, Trumpet, Tuba, Saxophone, Violin, Flute, And Voice.

The main objective of the Bangla School (BCCDI), dance academy is to nurture versatile dancers in a caring, dedicated and safe environment. Students are prepared for examinations in all disciplines taught at the school. Foreign examiners conduct annual examinations in all disciplines.

Our Objective is to instill a great love of dance while inspiring self-confidence, discipline, and respect for the performing arts. We provide a solid technical foundation for developing dancers. We advocate the study of Classical dance as a foundation to instill an awareness of poise, alignment, and technique. Our goal is to give each dancer the tools they need to take dance as far as they dream to take it. We believe if you can dream it, you can achieve it!

Our instructors are skilled at identifying the specific needs of each student. We believe in enriching education and we recognize that every student has something to offer the arts and the arts have something to every student.

We appreciate that the heart of a dancer is born into many different bodies and the love of the dance can take on many different styles. We will develop well-prepared dancers, should they so choose to pursue the arts professionally or are college bound. Once a dancer always a dancer, dance is something students can come back to during all stages of their life.

We urge each student to strive daily for their personal best, as well as to support one another in fostering a sense of teamwork in the classroom. The discipline, focus, and artistic enlightenment of dance create success in all aspects of life. Dance education contributes to the development of responsible, dedicated, determined, and creative adults in our society.

Libraries are places where anything is possible; you can travel the world, uncover hidden mysteries, and even heal a broken heart, all inside the walls of a library.

Sidney Sheldon perfectly describes: “Libraries store the energy that fuels the imagination. They open up windows to the world and inspire us to explore and achieve, and contribute to improving our quality of life.”

Even today, in our hyper-connected world, libraries are an indispensable resource. They provide a safe space to learn and discover for anyone who seeks it. No matter who you are or where you come from, everyone is welcome, and best of all, all the books are free! (As long as you remember to return them on time, that is!)

মাসুমা খাতুন শৈশব থেকেই ঢাকা শহরে ছিলেন। তাঁর প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক শিক্ষা অষ্টম শ্রেনী পর্যন্ত ঢাকার মুসলিম গার্লস এবং কাম্রুন্নেসা স্কুলে।  বাল্য বিবাহের শিকার হয়েছিলেন। নিজে নিজে পড়ে প্রাইভেট ছাত্রী হিসেবে ম্যাট্রিক, আইএ ও বিএ পাশ করেন।  ঢাকা বিশবিদ্যালয় এর প্রাইভেট ছাত্রী হিসেবে বাংলায় এম এ প্রথম বর্ষ শেষ করেন। কিন্তু ১৯৭১ সালে বাংলাদেশের সবাধীনতা যুদ্ধের জন্য এম এ শেষ করতে পারেন নি।

বাল্য বিবাহ বন্ধন ছিন্ন করে প্রথম চাকুরী ঢাকার মতিঝিলে পি আই এ দপ্তরে ১৯৬০ সালে। ছ’ মাস পর সে কাজে ইস্তফা দিয়ে তৎকালীন পূর্ব পাকিস্তানে কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারের প্রথম পর্যটন কেন্দ্র টুরিস্ট ব্যুরোতে যোগ দেন। তাঁর কাজ ছিল বিদেশী পর্যটকদের দ্রষ্টব্য স্থান সম্পর্কে তথ্য পরিবেশন করা।

১৯৬৪ সালের ২৫শে ডিসেম্বর ঢাকায় টেলিভিশনের উদ্বোধন হলো।  ১৯৬৫ সালের জানুয়ারী মাসে টেলিভিশনের অন্যতম কর্ণধার প্রখ্যাত রবীন্দ্র সঙ্গীত  শিল্পী ও শিক্ষক কলিম শরাফী (প্রয়াত) একদিন মাসুমা খাতুনকে ডেকে ক্যামেরার সামনে দাঁড়  করিয়ে দিলেন। তিনি মাসুমাকে শিশু শিল্পী হিসেবে চিনতেন। শুরু হলো টেলিভিশনে মাসুমা খাতুনের উপস্থাপনার কাজ।

১৯৭১ সালের ২৩শে মার্চ ছিল পাকিস্তান দিবস। মুস্তফা মনোয়ার এবং অন্যান্যরা স্থির করলেন ঐ দিন টেলিভিশন অনুষ্ঠান শেষে নিয়ম মাফিক পাকিস্তানের পতাকা দেখান হবেনা। ২৩ শে মার্চ রাত ১২ টা পার হয়ে যাওয়ার পর মাসুমা খাতুন ঘোষণা করলেনঃ “আজ ২৪ শে মার্চ অনুষ্ঠান শেষ হলো।“ সেই অপরাধে মাসুমা খাতুনকে বরখাস্ত করা হয়েছিল। পরে পুণরবহাল হন। টেলিভিশনে সাড়ে আট বছর কাজ করার পর ১৯৭৩ সালের জুলাই মাসে ইস্তফা দেন।

ওই মাসেই ভয়েস অব আমেরিকার বাংলা বিভাগে কাজ পেয়ে ছেলে এবং মেয়ে, স্বপন ও কল্পনাকে নিয়ে সুদূর ওয়াশিংটন ডিসিতে পাড়ি জমান। এই প্রতিষ্ঠানে তাঁর পদবী ছিল আন্তর্জাতিক বেতার ভাষ্যকার, লেখক ও সম্পাদক। দীর্ঘ ৩৮ বছর ভয়েস অব আমেরিকায় কাজ করার পর অবসর গ্রহন করেন।

মাসুমা খাতুন ১৯৭৫ সালে আমেরিকাতে বাংলাদেশ টেলিভিশনের এক সময়কার প্রযোযক/পরিচালক ওয়ালিউল্লাহ ফাহ্নমীকে বিয়ে করেন। তাঁরা তাঁদের গৃহে একটি ছোটো খাটো টেলিভিশন ষ্টুডিও নির্মান করে বাংলা সাপ্তাহিক অনুষ্ঠান তৈরী  করেছেন দীর্ঘ ১৩ বছর (১৯৯৫-২০০৭)। সেটি প্রচারিত হতো বৃহত্তর ওয়াশিংটন ডিসি এলাকার একটি আন্তর্জাতিক টেলিভিশন কেন্দ্র থেকে। অনুষ্ঠানের নাম ছিল “বাংলা ভালবাসি।“
