Dear Bangla School Students, Parents, Teachers, BCCDI Members & Fellow Community Members,

It is with gratitude for good citizenship and personal privilege that we accept the volunteer position of BCCDI Board members, with a deep sense of humility, honor, and commitment to excellence. We accept, too, the responsibility that goes with it, and we seek your continued support as we continue to make progress in our transformation, growth, and expansion.

Our diverse community challenges us to share our ideas while considering other points of view. Exploring the many ways, the DMV community has enriched and advanced BCCDI. We have a great opportunity to work closely together to discuss community engagement. We are excited about this new venue for sharing stories, confronting challenges, and developing viable solutions together.

Differences are assets that make us better learners, teachers, scholars, employees, and community members. This inclusive culture extends far beyond these boards and does not happen without the deliberate work of each of us as members of a diverse community. As we form and develop as a leadership team, we must look to associate ourselves with individuals and teams with mental toughness, endurance, tenacity, and the drive to succeed and contribute to the delivery of our vision and mission.
